Gibson's Orchard is a small, family orchard located in Crawford County, Ohio owned by Jim and Marcheta Gibson. How small? With 40 trees and 2 workers (us) we definitely are not a typical commercial operation. We do raise many favorite varieties as well as several older ones that larger orchards don't bother with because they do not keep or ship well for selling in grocery stores. Instead, we sell at local farmers markets and directly from the orchard. In season, we also have pears and small quantities of peaches and plums.

This blog is to share recipes and to let our customers know what varieties are in season, where we'll be set up next, and when our fresh apple cider is being pressed at the cider mill.
